With 4G LTE connectivity and twice the processing power under its hood, the world’s most-discussed gadget appears to be well poised to keep fans of Apple products well and happy for another year. Hola Barcelona!

Hola people! Are you perhaps amongst those who followed us on twitter with the hashtag #nokiashoot and wondered what was it all about? If so, I’m happy to announce that I’ve set up a flickr album with a whole bunch of photos from the 3 day event that took place from the 19th -21th of March in Barcelona, Spain.

But, in case you didn’t know, this was basically a trip to get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the creation of a Nokia advert. I will go into more detail about this in my later posts, but for now I’ll just say that the main premise of the video goes hand to hand with the Nokia motto of using technology differently and in a creative way. If anyone can recall some of the interesting Nokia adverts previously shown on TV or online, I believe it’s easy to spot why was it so exciting and eye opening to have this kind of first hand experience.
To make things even more fun while visiting Barcelona, I was also accompanied by some really cool guys and throughout mobile enthusiasts- Roman, from S60 inside (twitter @S60inside), Jay from My Nokia Blog (@JayMontano)  and Norman from Symbian World (@NormanJ). The always smiling and helpful people from WomWorld/Nokia – Adam (@adwood1984) and Lydia (@laserlid)  –  kept us in line (hehe) and helped us get the most out of our brief stay in Barcelona.

Starting up from the crazy last minute race to board a plane while trying to text on twitter and right into the artistically diverse and beautiful streets of Barcelona, this trip was nothing short but amazing and certainly something to remember about, and I want to take the moment here to give my biggest thanks to WomWorld/Nokia for this golden opportunity.

I also greatly appreciate the time that Prima Sung,  marketing manager of Nokia, spent hanging around with us in a close and friendly atmosphere that helped a lot to get into various interesting discussions about Nokia phones!

Last but not least, it’s worth mentioning that the following photos were shared between Roman, Jay,  Norman and me, and since they were created on a full spectrum of Nokia photo shooters, you can effectively check out the weaknesses and strengths of the different phone cameras (additional information is on the right of each photo).

The starring phones are the Nokia N86 (equipped with a 8 Mpix camera with dual LED flash), Nokia N82 ( 5 Mpix with xenon flash) and Nokia N900 (5Mpix with LED  flash). I’ll probably upload more pics and videos so do keep an eye on the flicker album in the next few days, but for now, it’s adiós!

Midnight Commander on the Nokia N900

Found a new file manager app that sounds awfully familiar to what I once used on my PC. Will this one enable N900 app memory access?

Certainly looks intriguing, notice the two panel action for easier and faster file management. Supports command line input, various settings can be tweaked to alter the behavior of the app.
